A letter was sent by the RNA to John Rodgers, chair of the County Ethics Committee, requesting that the committee determine if County Mayor Ernest Burgess had violated the County Code of Ethics in such a way as to end discussion concerning a commissioner's question regarding a possible violation of theTennessee Open Meetings Act.
